Rich Granger

Managing Director, Workforce Development at DriveOhio, the state‘s center for smart mobility — focused on automated, connected, and electric vehicles and infrastructure, on the ground and in the air, across Ohio.

In this role, I work with public and private partners — including government, industry, educators and communities — to launch and manage a portfolio of workforce development programs — from Pre-K to PhD — to up-skill and prepare Ohio’s existing and emerging workforce for the future of smart mobility.

Workforce development programs include up-skilling, workforce mobility, work-based learning and capstones, problem-based learning and design challenges, and early childhood STEM education and outreach.

In addition, I collaborate on economic development initiatives with partners across K-12 and higher education, automotive and logistics industries, technology startups, transit agencies, government, non-profit, economic development, and metropolitan planning organizations.
