The Role of BACs in Creating Pathways to Success in STEM Careers / Project Innovation

Description

Room 214

The Department defines STEM as much more than a content-area acronym. STEM is an innovative approach to teaching for deeper learning. Business and Industry connections are central to STEM education. This session will highlight some programs and schools that are embracing this transformational practice, including Project Innovation offered by the ESC of Central Ohio.

This session will also provide participants with guidance on connecting Business and Industry partners to K-12 STEM Education and preview the coming crosswalk between BAC Quality Practices and attributes from the STEM rubric.
