ClearView Management Resources has 50+ years of diverse experiences in the talent development arenas, including education, offers a multitude of innovative Work-Based Learning (WBL) solutions to benefit students, employers, school systems, and parents. 

Find out how employers can use a variety of designs of multiple WBL activities (including preps and follow-ups and virtual and on-site) to positively impact their current and future talent needs; and to use what they learn from the students to impact their Talent: Acquisition, Development, and Retention strategies. Find out how school systems and students can more effectively help students (K-12) explore industries, careers, and individual jobs; test drive jobs; and learn job specific talents to begin their career paths with a potentially diverse career ahead of them.

Speakers

Michael "Mac" McVey

A consistent role throughout his career and community causes has been Talent Development. With ClearView he designed and created two Talent software platforms; designed and delivered over 70 different titles or courses (and structured OJT); designed and delivered two Leadership Academies (SEM and NASIC); conducted a study for OSU on MFG’s needs for Skilled & Highly Skilled Talents (included CTE high schools, technical colleges, and ODE); coached a Jr. Sailing Team (7th to 12th graders) for six years; taught college at CSCC; created instruction manuals for employers on creating curriculum for WBL programs such as Job Shadowing, Internships, and Structured OJT. Before ClearView he was a Nuclear Engineering Technician instructor for both the US Navy and commercial nuclear energy industries; worked with the University of the State of New York to college credential Nuclear Operators’ training programs; conducted a learning system assessment for a global consulting firm (40 countries); etc.

Josh Compton

With ClearView Management Resources, Josh and his partners have developed strong relationships between schools and their network of business partners, which have led to successful Work-Based Learning for students’ career readiness. ClearView has had a long time focus of helping businesses grow and has taken that knowledge and structure of development to the future workforce. Our goal is to prepare the next generation earlier to be more equipped to enter the job market at a younger age. Josh has recently been named the Educational Chair for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals of the Columbus, Ohio Roundtable. Prior to ClearView, Josh has spent more than 15 years in Supply Chain and Logistics as a senior manager and consultant, developing strategic initiatives, leading teams of more than two thousand people, providing world-class logistic solutions to several Fortune 100 companies.
